OBITUARY OF FRED SCHWARZE


Fredrick Henry Schwarze was born Sept. 22, 1866, at Lippe Detmold, Germany, and came to this country.


On Aug. 19, 1901 he was united in marriage to Miss Nevada Laver. For some time they lived in Greenwood, Clark County and then move to their present home in the town of Eaton. This union was blessed with nine children, two preceding their father in death.


After an illness of 10 days he died at the Marshfield hospital of Pneumonia June 11, 1928, at the age of 61 years, 8 months and 19 days.


He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and seven children, Mrs. Dux of Neillsville, Mrs. Hendrickson of the town of Beaver, Clifford, Susan, Hilda, Calvin and Loraine at home. He also leaves 3 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs. Louise Welsh of Missouri, and Mrs. Bertha Wilson of South Dakota, and 4 brothers, Will of California, Simon of Greenwood, Ernest and August of the town of Warner.


Mr. Schwarze was very industrious and progressive in his business, an intelligent citizen, a helpful and obliging neighbor, and in his home life, a kind and loving husband and father.


The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the West Side Reformed Church and was largely attended. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Rev. O. Vriesen officiated.
