CARL B. TURNQUIST


Services for Carl B. Turnquist, 73, of Greenwood, Clark County, will be held at 1:30 Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Mr. Turnquist died at his home at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept 28, 1974.


The Rev. David E. Wenger, pastor, will officiate at the Tuesday service, with burial to follow at the Greenwood Cemetery.


Visitation may be made today (Monday) at the Hill Funeral Home.


A native of Greenwood, Mr. Turnquist was born Oct. 12, 1900, and farmed in the town of Warner until 2 1/2 years ago, when he retired and moved to the city of Greenwood. He was married to the former Evelyn Olson on June 21, 1933, at the former Trondhjem Lutheran Church, Greenwood.


Survivors include his wife two daughters, Mrs. Larry Solberg, Elk Mound, and Mrs. Tom (Hilda) Dennison, Green Bay two sons, Chester and Edward, both of Greenwood.
