OBITUARY OF MRS. ANNA SEVERSON
 

Anna Marie Severson was born Oct. 12, 1846 in Norway and passed away in Minneapolis, Minn., on July 12, 1936, having reached the age of 89 years, 9 months. She was united in marriage to Engvold Severson April 14, 1872 and came to America in 1881, locating at Lake Mills, Iowa.


About 13 years ago they moved to Greenwood, Clark County and located on the farm known as the Henry Jorenby farm in the Town of Warner, where they lived for about 7 years. They left here for Minneapolis, where she has resided ever since. Her husband preceded her in death about 8 years ago.


She is survived by five children, Joseph Severson, Lake Nebagamon, Wis. Alfred Severson, Hanlontown, Iowa Olaf Severson, Cherokee, Iowa Mrs. Edward Ruben, Ruso, N.D. and Mrs. Curtis Swanson, Minneapolis, Minn., sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.


The body was brought here for burial on Thursday, July 16 and was laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery, Rev. M.K. Aaberg officiating.
Funeral services were conducted in Minneapolis on Wednesday.
