MRS. A. A. DUELL

Ida L. Wheeler was born in Warren County, New York, on the 13th day of May 1863, the eldest of a family of several children of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Wheeler. She passed her childhood days, received an education and grew to womanhood in the vicinity of her birth. On May 1, 1882 she was married to A. A. Duell, and made their home their until 1887, when they removed to Christie, Clark County, and settled on a farm. Seven children were born to them, four of whom still survive, Mrs. Louis Heck of Neillsville, Frank, George and Anita of this city. In 1908 they moved to this city and have resided here until Mrs. Duell's untimely death, due to heart failure, last Thursday night, Jan. 26, 1911. Funeral services were conducted last Sunday afternoon at Christie by Rev. Marsh, and the body interred in the Christie Cemetery.

A husband and four children, as above stated, are left to mourn the loss of one who was always kind, generous, and devoted to her loved ones. Life will never be quite the same to those who knew her while those who were nearest to her will long for her with unutterable longings, long for a mother's counsel and advice and a wife's gentle and loving sympathy.
