PETER BISHOP

Peter Bishop, who had been a resident of the town of Loyal, Clark County, since 1903, and a resident in the state since 1853, died at his home in that village last Tuesday morning, Sept. 7, 1909, at five o'clock, at the age of 68 years.

Deceased was born in Quebec, Canada in 1841, and settled at Necedah, where he was married to Margaret Moorne in 1857, and from there moved to Lindsey. In 1903 he came to Loyal and purchased the home in which he died. He was a man of excellent habits and fine moral character and although not in the best of health he was not one to complain.

The funeral services were held Thursday morning at the house and the remains interred in the M. E. Cemetery.
