NEVILLE PIGOTT

The town of Loyal, Clark County, lost another one of its best citizens and most progressive farmers last Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 8, 1909, in the death of Neville Pigott at his farm near that place, who died of old age and heart failure, at the age of 75 years.

The deceased was born in Rawdon, Canada on April 24th, 1834. In 1867 he moved to Mauston in this state and was married to Miss Lois Wright on July 3rd, 1873 and lived there until seven years ago, when he moved on the farm where he died.

He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, three daughters, Mrs. R. A. Henning of Brainerd, Minn., Mrs. H. W. Shelley of Waldo, Oregon, and Miss Rhessis Pigott of Loyal, two sons, Lee and Harley of Grand Fall, Texas.

The funeral services were held at Mauston on Saturday and the remains interred in the Evergreen Cemetery at that place, where he had a lot, and was laid to rest beside three sons and one daughter.
