OBITUARY OF HENRY BUSHMAN, SR.


Henry Bushman
was born Nov. 25, 1866 and passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital Friday night, Dec. 14, 1934, after an illness caused by dropsy and heart trouble.


On May 21, 1889 he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Schell of St. Nazianz. For several years he followed the trade of blacksmith at St. Nazianz, later moving to a farm near Greenwood, Clark County, now occupied by Martin Afkind. In 1919 he moved to Marshfield, where he resided. The last four years were spent at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joe Stegbauer.


He is survived by the following ten children: Rose (Mrs. I. K. Mayr), Beaver Dam, Wis. John, Greenwood, Wis. Alvin, St. Louis, Mo. Anna, San Francisco, Calif. Catherine (Mrs. Joe Stegbauer), Elizabeth (Mrs. Frank Drexler), and Joe, Marshfield, Wis. Olive (Mrs. H. Crosthwaite, San Francisco, Calif. Hilda (Mrs. R. V. Difane), St. Louis, Mo. and Cecelia (Mrs. Ray Below), Spencer, Wis.


He is also survived by four brothers and three sisters, John, California Anton, Milwaukee Andrew, Manitowoc Peter, Arpin Mrs. John Woelfel, Chilton Mrs. Joe Christel, Kiel and Mrs. George Diem, California, also twenty-six grandchildren.


Funeral services were held at the Scared Heart Catholic Church at Marshfield, Wednesday morning at 9:00 o'clock, Rev. H. P. Toeller officiating. Burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery in Greenwood.
