OBITUARY OF ISADORE JOLIVETTE


Isadore Jolivette
was born in La Crosse Dec. 24, 1871 and passed away at his home in Greenwood on Tuesday Feb. 11, 1941 at the age of 69 years, 1 month and 18 days. On Nov. 1, 1891 he was united in marriage to Maria Paterson at Withee, Clark County.. After living at Withee for a short time they moved to La Crosse, where Mr. Jolivette was employed as a carpenter until 1914, when they moved to Greenwood on a farm northeast of the city.


Mr. Jolivette is survived by his wife, six sons, Lee and Gerald of Greenwood Edwin of Abbotsford Harris of Curtiss Raymond and Robert of Owen and two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Stella) Frank of Thorp Mrs. Lex (Esther) Dusso of Greenwood, 19 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Carl Anderson of La Crosse 4 brothers, Charles of La Crosse David of Sioux Falls, S. D Jerry of Deven, Colo. Theo. Of Calif.


Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Lee Jolivette home and at the Methodist Church at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. A.J. Abbot officiating. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery. His six sons acted as pallbearers.
The flower girls were his granddaughters Elaine and June Jolivette.
