OBITUARY OF MRS. JENNIE ATKINS

Jennie Chadwick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldrige Chadwick, was born at Warrensburg, N.Y. on April 9, 1870. She came to Wisconsin with her parents when she was 9 years old, settling in the Town of Eaton, Clark Conty. She resided there until her marriage to Daniel Atkins on April 8, 1891. They then moved to Christie, where she has resided ever since. Mr. Atkins passed away 31 years ago.

To this union were born five children, Mrs. Phillip (Edith) Christie of Abbotsford, who passed away Sept. 15, 1941 Leon, Durand, Wis. Mrs. Hugh (Loteen) Christie, of the Town of Eaton Clifford of Drummond, Mont., and George at home.

She passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, Oct. 3, 1941 of a heart attack.

She is survived by the above named children, a brother, Marvin Chadwick of Neillsville, 4 granchilcren and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 6th, first at the home, then at the Methodist Church at Christie. Rev. A. J. Abbott officiated. Interment was made in the Christie Cemetery.
