RITES PLANNED FOR GREENWOOD WOMAN
MRS. CHARLES LANDBERG, 70, DIES FOLLOWING LENGTHY ILLNESS


Greenwood--Mrs. Charles Landberg, 70, died at 5:30 Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 4, 1949 at her home, 5 miles northeast of Greenwood, Clark County. A heart ailment caused her death. She had been in poor health for the past six years.


Funeral services will be conducted at the Schiller Funeral Home at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon and at the United Lutheran Church at 1:30, the Rev. Theodore Nelson officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home.


Mrs. Landberg was born Dec. 26, 1878 in Sweden. She came to Greenwood 20 years ago from Benton Harbor, Mich.


She is survived by her husband, two sons, Andrew and Wendell, and one daughter, Vivian, all at home. Two brothers also survive.
