ERNEST KROKSON, 56, DIES MONDAY NOON
HEART ATTACK RESULTS IN SUDDEN DEATH OF GREENWOOD RESIDENT


Greenwood--Ernest Krokson, 56, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday, Feb. 14, 1943, shortly before noon at his home, 10 miles west of Greenwood, Clark County. He had been in poor health since last August, and had spent three weeks in Wisconsin General Hospital, Madison, in September.


Mr. Krokson, son of the late John and Ingred Krokson, was born in Sweden May 22, 1866, and came to America when he was six years old, receiving his education in Greenwood.


In 1906 he went to Minneapolis, where he was married June 15, 1915 to Hannah Stlum. In 1919 the Kroksons moved to Greenwood and reside on a farm in the Town of Warner until 1938, when they moved to the present location.


Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Roland (Ethel) Barrett, Town of Warner, and Helen at home four brothers, Victor and Morris, Greenwood Fred, Minneapolis and Oscar, Park Rapids, Minn. and two grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.


Funeral services for Mr. Krokson, a member of the United Lutheran Church and Modern Woodmen of America, have not been arranged.
