CLARENCE F. MARKEE


Greenwood--Clarence F. Markee, 60, route 3, Greenwood, Clark County, died at 6:30 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.


Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, with the Rev. Eugene Antrim of United Methodist church, Greenwood, officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Owen.


He was born July 10, 1915, in the Town of Warner and was married to Lucille Englebretson June 5, 1943, at Greenwood. He received his schooling at Hemlock School and was raised in the Town of Warner, where he farmed his entire life.
Survivors include his widow two daughters, Mrs. Terry (Lillian) Hebert, Hancock, and Miss Becky Ann, at home two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Nina) Pederstuen, Knapp, and Mrs. Dorothy Franz, Abbotsford his step-mother, Mrs. Susie Markee, Hillsboro three grandchildren, and six step-grandchildren.


Preceding him in death were four sisters.
