RALPH LINDNER


Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, at 10:30 a.m. for Ralph John Lindner, 28, Phoenix, Ariz. Rev. Robert Streveler will officiate at services at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Pallbearers will be Church Ogle, Mike Vesel, Wayne Richmond, Paul Lindner, Mark Langreck and Tom Scherer. Burial will be in the church cemetery.


Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home in Greenwood Wednesday, Feb. 3 after 4 p.m. A prayer service will be at 8 p.m.


Lindner died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1988 at 9:30 a.m. in Kaplan, La., as the result of a fall from a tower on which he was working.


Ralph Lindner was born Oct. 14, 1959 in Marshfield to Lawrence and Josephine (nee Langreck) Lindner, Loyal, Clark County. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1977. In 1979, he graduated from Eau Claire Technical institute. He then moved to Arizona, where he worked for SNG Communications West Corp. out of Tucson. He and Ann Caliebe were married Sept. 26, 1987 in Greenwood.


Survivors include his wife his parents three brothers, Alan of Greenwood and Lewis and Roger, at home two sisters, Ann Lindner of Tempe, Ariz. And Mrs. Carla (Rick) Rogstad, Chippewa Falls and grandparents Ferd and Celia Langreck, Greenwood. A sister, Mary Jo, preceded him in death in 1978.


Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, handled funeral arrangements.
