ELAINE L. HAGEDORN


Elaine Hagedorn, 62, Route 2, Neillsville, Clark County, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 1989 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 11, 1989, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe. Rev. Paul Reede officiated the service, with burial in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Globe. Pallbearers were James Nemitz, William Nemitz, William Schultz, David Hoppa, Art Krause and Charles Hagedorn.


Elaine Hagedorn was born Nov. 20, 1926, in Neenah, to William and Olive (Arndt) Oldham. She received her elementary education from Neeanah schools. She then moved to Neillsville with her parents and attended Neillsville High School. After her education she worked in Marshfield until her marriage. On June 10, 1945, she married Louis J. Hagedorn, in Neillsville. After their marriage they farmed in the Town of Weston for many years. During this time they had fours sets of twins. After retirement they moved to the Town of Hewett. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, President of the Immanuel Lutheran Ladies Aid and a member of the Globe Homemakers.


Survivors include her father, husband, four daughters, Diane Murphy, Neillsville; Mrs. David (Donna) McDonald, Neillsville; Mrs. Ronald (Lois) Oldham, Granton; Mrs. Rick (Bonnie) Thoma, Neillsville; four sons, John Hagedorn, Sheboygan Falls; Jerold Hagedorn, Winona; Louis Hagedorn Jr., Neillsville; Bruce Hagedorn, Neillsville; one brother, Calvin Oldham, Land O'Lakes (The rest of my copy was cut off)
