ANNA HABHEGGER


Anna Habhegger, 93, Loyal, Clark County, died Saturday, May 4, 1991, at Colonial Living Center, Colby. Funeral services were to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 1991, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Loyal. Rev. Joseph R. Kraly officiated. Pallbearers were Eugene Zuege, James Zuege, Harlan Berg, Verland Dux, Erwin Dux, and Ray Allar.


Anna Zuege was born June 28, 1897, in Weyewega, to Frank and Caroline (nee Behm) Zuege. She received her education at Lyons School and German School. She was employed at National Company of Milwaukee as a seamstress. She married John Habhegger June 27, 1928, at Trinity Lutheran Parsonage, Loyal.


After their marriage, they farmed in the town of Sherman until 1952, when they moved to the City of Loyal. Her husband preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and TLCW.


Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Lois) Worchel, Spencer; and Mrs. LaVerne (Catherine) Kronberger, Loyal; one sister, Mrs. Leona Martin, Loyal; one brother, Bernard Zuege, Milwaukee; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.


She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers and three sisters.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
