Auman, Frances (1888 - 1966)


GREENWOOD--Mrs. Frances Auman, 78, formerly of Willard, Clark County, died Friday, June 3, 1966 at Genoa City.


Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. William Nikolai, pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, will officiate, and burial will be made in the National Cemetery at Willard.


The body will repose at the funeral home from this evening until time of services.


The former Frances Zavell was born Feb. 2, 1888, in Yugoslavia. Her first marriage was to Frank Godina, who preceded her in death. In 1938, she was married to John Auman, who preceded her in death in Feb. 1964.


After coming to the United States she made her home in Willard until 1964, when she was taken to a nursing home at Genoa City.


Survivors are three sons, Frank, Joseph and Al Godina, McHenry, Ill.; two daughters, Sophia and Ann, both of Chicago; two brothers, Frank Zavell, Chicago; and John Zavell, Yugoslavia; and five sisters , Mrs. Marion Celar, Greenwood; Mrs. Joseph (Antonia) Petrich, Mrs. Ann Kern, Mrs. Mary Janesek and Mrs. Jenny Schuster, Chicago.


A sister preceded her in death.
