Riley, Iva Jean (1896 - 1965)


GREENWOOD--Joint funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Church in Loyal for the Rev. Arthur Charles Riley, 81, Unity, Clark County, a former pastor of the Grace Methodist Church at Greenwood, who died Friday, and for his wife who died on Sunday.


The Rev. Paul Doering, Loyal, and the Rev. Herbert Thompson, La Crosse, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Loyal Cemetery.


The bodies are reposing at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood until 11 a.m. Tuesday, and then at the church.


Rev. Mr. Riley was born Sept. 6, 1883, in England. In 1910 he attended the British Columbia Oaknotan College and later Toronto University.


The former Iva Jean Blackhall was born May 17, 1896, in Ingersol, Ontario, Canada, and received her education at the Toronto University.
