Rajk, Antonia (1877 - 1955)


GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY--Mrs. Frank Rajk, resident of this area since 1910, died at her home at 6:45 o'clock this morning, Nov. 30, 1955, following a stroke suffered on Monday. She was 78 years of age and had been in poor health the past two years.


Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning in St. Mary's Catholic Church and will be followed by burial in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Edward Hartung will officiate.


A rosary service will be conducted at 9 o'clock Friday night at the Hill Funeral Home, where the body will lie in state beginning at noon Thursday.


The former Antonia Prima was born in Yugoslavia Jan. 16, 1877 and came to Sheboygan when she was 18 years of age. She was married there to frank Rajk on Oct. 25, 1906, and in 1910 the couple moved to a farm north of here, where they resided until 1943. Since then they have lived in Greenwood.


Mrs. Rajk is survived by here husband, one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Josephine) Peterson two sons, Louis, at home, and Joseph, Superior five grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Staric And Mrs. Mara Urbancic, both of Cleveland, Ohio Mrs. Victor Cline, Tampa, Fla. and three brothers, Louis Primc, Yugoslavia Carl Primc, Illinois and Alben Primc, Greenwood. Four daughters, one son and two brothers preceded her in death.
