GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY--Hubert Henry Brown, 77, Seattle, Wash., a former Greenwood resident died Friday, Nov. 17, 1967, in veteran's Hospital at Seattle, following a lingering illness.


Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. Carl Booher, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. (actually buried in West Spencer, Sherman Twp.?)


The body will repose at the funeral home from noon Tuesday until the time of services.


Mr. Brown was born Dec. 24, 1889, and had served in World War I. After leaving Greenwood, the family lived for a time in Minnesota before going to Seattle.


Survivors are his wife, the former Minnie Himes three sons, Kenneth E. and Robert H., Seattle, Wash. and Wayne A., Renton, Wash. and seven grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by a son, Wallace, in Jan. 1967.
