Pogue, Robert E. (1961 - 1990)

A graveside service was held Friday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. for Robert E. Pogue, 28, Colby, who died in May. Rev. Douglas Bjerke presided at the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Robert Pogue was born Dec. 5, 1961 in Downey, Calif. To Edward J. and Shirley (nee Hall) Pogue. He was educated in California and moved to the Neillsville area in 1978. He then moved to Texas, where he lived for nine years and worked as a meat cutter. He returned to this area in February and worked for Century Foods in Abbotsford.

He married Ann Lazzerine Dec. 12, 1984 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She survives.

Other survivors include his mother of Abbotsford four sisters, Mrs. Mark (Linda) Opelt and Mrs. Todd (Margie) Opelt, both of Neillsville, Lori Reeves of Medford, and Mrs. Ben (Feleiscia) Mock of Curtiss, and one brother, Eddie Pogue, Abbotsford.

He was predeceased by his father.
