Anthony Balthasy Schuh, 73, Colby, died at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 1991, at Marshfield Clinic, Colby Center.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 1991, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, Rev. Bruce Ball will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitations will be after 4 p.m., Wednesday at Rux Funeral Home, Colby. A VFW service will be at 7:15 p.m. a Christian Mother's Rosary at 4 p.m. and a general rosary at 8 p.m.
Anthony Schuh was born on Sept. 18, 1917, in the town of Colby, Clark County to John and Rosella (nee Beyerl) Schuh. He received his education in town of Colby and St. Mary's School.
He was married to Geraldine Shelley at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, on Nov. 6, 1940. He farmed in the town of Colby on the home farm from 1946 until 1975. He also worked for Wick Building Systems in Spencer until he retired in 1980. He was a Veteran of WWI in the U.S. Army, serving in the Pacific Theatre.
He is survived by his wife four sons, Roger of Mondovi Richard of Colby, Larry of Colby and Thomas of Marshfield four daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Judy) Underwood of Virginia Beach, Va., Mrs. Tom (jean) Klimowski of Phillips Lois Wilke of Dorchester and Mrs. Norman (Nancy) Scearer of Curtiss three brothers, Francis of Fond du Lac Arthur of Colby and Walter of Milwaukee 25 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one son and one brother.
