Firnstahl, Minnie Ida Marie (1902 - 1991)


Minnie Ida Marie Firnstahl, 88, Colonial House Living Center, Colby, died Thursday, April 25, 1991, at the Living Center. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 27, 1991, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. Rev. Mark Neumann officiated and burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, North Spencer. Pallbearers were Michael Lamont, Brian Eggebrecht, Craig Marvin, Dale Krebsbach, Rick Rapp, and Eric Ackman.


Minnie Ida Marie Voelker was born Nov. 25, 1902, in Spencer, to Robert and Lilla (nee Bruesewitz) Voelker . She received her education in the Spencer area schools. She married Herman Andre April 14, 1921, At Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. They farmed in the town of Unity until 1958, and then moved to Spencer. He preceded her in death in 1961. She married Ervin Eggebrecht May 6, 1972, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. He preceded her in death in 1975. She married Isadore Firnstahl Sept. 29, 1979, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. He preceded her in death Feb. 23, 1984. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, American Legion Auxiliary, Colby and Colby Senior Citizens.


Survivors include one son, James Andre, Oshkosh one step-daughter, Mrs. Angus (Virginia) Lamont, Colby three step-sons, Jerry Firnstahl, Jefferson Paul Firnstahl, Colby and Jim Eggebrecht, Colby twos sisters, Mrs. Ortelia Pieper, Clintonville and Mrs. Laura Korth, Abbotsford and many grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and one step-son.


Rux Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
