FRANK WOLF
 

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 11 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, for Frank Wolf, 70 401 Elm Drive, Loyal, Clark County.


Mr. Wolf died at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1978 at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.


Officiating at the service was Rev. Chester Osowski. Interment was in the parish cemetery.


Frank Wolf was born on June 18, 1908 in the Marshfield area to William and Katherine (Petrack) Wolf. He received his education at Auburndale Schools.


In 1932 he played several instruments with an accordion known as Lone Wolf and played for about 25 years.


He was married in 1932 at St. Joseph's Church, Waukesha to Mildred Foat.


He farmed at Mather, Wis. and in the Town of Sherman and the Town of Fremont until 1944, when he moved to Loyal. He then operated an established Wolf Guernsey Dairy milk route, which served Greenwood and Loyal. He also operated Wolf s Saw Mill in Loyal, retiring in 1971.


He was a member of Knights of Columbus, St. Anthony's Men s Club and Senior Citizens Club.


A P.C..C.W. Rosary was held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, a Prayer Service at 8 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8:30 p.m.


Surviving him are his wife six sons, Norman of Loyal, Arnold of Chili, Larry of Lindsey, Dennis of Hewitt, Patrick of El Toro, Cal. And Randy of Eau Claire ten daughters, Mrs. Marlin (Virginia) Schmitz of Granton, Mrs. Kenneth (June) Marvin of Greenwood, Mrs. Merlin (Irene) Gardner of Spencer, Mrs. Stanley (Janet) Metcalfe of Loyal, Mrs. David (Delores) Kautzer of Loyal, Mrs. Roy (Mary) Rasmussen of Greenwood, Mrs. Dennis (Laurette) Bauer of Greenwood, Mrs. Randy (Rachelle) Haslow of Eau Claire, Mrs. Richard (Clarice) Clark of Greenwood and Miss Renee Wolf, at home one brother, Gregor Wolf of Schofield two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Margaret) Schill of Auburndale and Mrs. Gerald (Frances) Schmidt of Neillsville 70 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


Serving as pallbearers were Arnold Haslow, Joe Peohnelt, Lloyd Hansen, Ted Turk Ed Rohloff and Edgar Verhalen.


He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.


Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
