JAMES MATOUSEK
 

James Matousek, 83, Willard, Clark County, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1993, at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 1993, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Rev. Stephen Bauer officiated. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were John, Jerome, and Jeremy Stremikis, Val Krainz, and Steve Hinkle.


James Matousek was born Oct. 15, 1909, in Chicago, Ill., to James and Ann Matousek. He received his education in Chicago. He married Frances Volk in June of 1937, in Chicago. She survives. He was a machinist at Argon National Lab in Chicago, retiring in 1974. Since 1986 he has been living in Willard. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.


Survivors include his wife one daughter, Mrs. Steven (Mary) Hinkle, Neillsville two grandchildren and one sister, Anne Matousek, Boling Brook, Ill.


He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Frank.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
