Hagen, Trygve (1905 - 1980)


Trygve Hagen, 74, of Route 1, Owen, Clark County, died Sunday morning, April 13, 1980 at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.


Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 16 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood, and burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Officiating was Rev. Sam Kochel and Mrs. Duane Olson was the soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Lillian Warner on the organ. Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Trygve Hagen was born on June 20, 1905 in Milwaukee and received his education at Milwaukee Schools.


He was married to Nora Larson in May 1964 at Sparta.


He was a carpenter in Milwaukee, retiring and moving to Route 1, Owen in 1964. He served in the Army-Air Force from 1942 - 1945.


He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and he was a World War II veteran.


Surviving him is one sister, Mrs. Esther Stammers of West Allis.


Preceding him in death were his wife on Feb. 16, 1974 and one brother.


Serving as pallbearers were Charles Pribbernow, Duane Pribbernow, Emil Horner, John Fox, Eric Axelson and Ralph Ystad.
