Mrs. Albert Scholtz continues to be very ill with stomach trouble and confined to her bed.

 

A large company of Ridge ladies drove to Neillsville Saturday and enjoyed a thimble party at the home of Frank Drescher.  Miss Clara Drescher entertained.

 

Vera Slocomb is quite wll and again attending school.

 

Velda Selves is reported as much better Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister was given a delightful surprise party with midnight oyster supper in honor of her birthday, Wednesday night, Feb. 28th.

 

Warren Page came up from Waupun and spent several days of this week with home folk, returning to his work there again, Thursday.

 

The Mesdames Otto Hantke, Otis Slocomb and John Rich? Spent Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister and kept her home so that their party plans for that night would not go astray.

 

Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister and Mrs. Arthur Drescher drove to Lynn yesterday and visited the Wm. Nitschke and Chas. Helm families and attended the funeral of the late John Altenburg.

 

Mrs. H.O. Huckstead and daughter Ruth were Black River Falls visitors last week.

 

Mrs. Waterpool, daughter and granddaughter of Norma Wren were out from Neillsville and spent several days of last week with Mrs. George West.

 

Mrs. John Vine and Mrs. Arlo Huckstead spent Monday at Henry Carterís.

 

Mrs. Reuben King and baby, with Mrs. Ted Huckstead, spent Tuesday with Mrs. Blackman.
