Aliens in County Face Deadline (27 January 1966)
R. A. Klein, officer in charge of the Milwaukee Office of the Immigration and Naturalization service, reminded aliens in Wisconsin today that Monday is the deadline for filing address report forms as required under provisions of the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act.
The immigration official urged aliens who have not yet filed their address reports to do so no later than January 31, to avoid possible penalties.
Mr. Klein said the law requires that every alien except those having diplomatic status, representatives of certain international organizations and persons admitted temporarily as agricultural laborers must file the address report during January of each year at the nearest postoffice or immigration and naturalization service office.
