Chara Lynn Orth and Adam Stange were united in marriage on February 25, 2012, at Barcelo Maya Palace in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

 

The ceremony was held on the coral reef beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with a Mexican civil marriage officiant presiding.

 

The bride is the daughter of Gene and Diane Orth, Colby. Her husband is the son of Randy and MaryAnn Stange, Abbotsford.

 

The bride wore a diamond-white strapless mermaid organza gown with ruche bodice and black and solver beaded lace detail throughout. She carried a bouquet of white lilies and roses. 

 

Matron of honor was Jana Strasburg, Larsen, sister of the bride.

 

Best man was Mike Venzke, Medford, cousin of the groom.

 

Music during the ceremony was provided by a Barcelo Palace flutist.

 

Photographer was Megan Hoesly, Wausau.

 

A reception was held on the coral reef beach, with 26 guests attending. A local reception was also held at the Veranda in April. 

 

The bird is a 2000 Colby High School graduate and a 2004 UW-Steven Point graduate with a degree in dietetics. She is a registered dietician at Three Oaks-Golden Living Center in Marshfield. 

 

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Colby High School. He is a construction carpenter at Lewis Construction, Schofield.

 

The couple resided in Medford.
