John Dahl made a trip to Granton with veal calves Monday.

 

Some from here attended the basket social last Friday evening.

 

Kenneth Grabe came home from the north last Sunday.

 

There was a spelling contest Friday evening in District No. 2.  Frances Crossett won.

 

Abie Turner is a very happy man.  He has found a spot of bare ground large enough to get both feet on.

 

There were lots of robins and meadow larks back Sunday.  They were the first we heard.

 

Sid Free, Ernest Rogers and E.G. Rowe and wife were at Granton Monday in spite of the bad roads.

 

The town board met Tuesday and fixed things up right.

 

Ernest Rowe and family spent last Tuesday evening at the W.M. Rowe home.

 

Horace Vandeberg drove to Neillsville Friday to have some dental work done.

 

The ladies aid will serve dinner at the hall Tuesday.

 

Ray Mortimer and Gunther Eden will soon be the sweetest fellow in town.  They have 300 trees tapped.
