The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a gown of Chantilly lace, the long sleeved bodice was beaded with pearls and sequins, and the entrained skirt featured a scalloped peplum.

Her chapel veil of French illusion was attached to a double tiara of lace decorated with pearls and sequins.  She carried a cascade arrangement of white carnations cushioned by whit pompons.

Miss Geraldine Opachan, Cicer, served as her sister’s maid of honor.  A friend of the bride, Miss Antoinette Mnicnowicz, Chicago, served as bridesmaid.  Both wore red street length dresses with tricot bodices and red velvet skirts.  Red pill box hats, matching shoes and crystal necklaces and earrings, a gift of the bride, complemented their array.  Miniature red roses and white pompons comprised their bouquets.

Serving the groom were Leonard Opachan, the bride’s brother of Cicer, and William Haupt of Chicago.

Wedding festivities included dinner and supper served to 50 guests and dancing at Marion’s Hall in Lublin.  Guests came from Chicago, Cicero, Medford, Gilman and Stevens Point.
