Demuth, Kay Diane (Marriage - 9 July 1966)

 

Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday in a double ring ceremony in the Loyal Methodist Church uniting in marriage Miss Kay Diane Demuth, daughter of Mrs. Ada Demuth of Loyal, and Franklin James Catlin, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Catlin of Loyal. The Rev. Paul Doering of Ladysmith officiated.

 

The bride wore a white linen floor length gown, the bodice of which was styled with scoop neckline and elbow length sleeves.  The modified empire waist and sleeves were bound with delicate Venetian lace and dainty velvet ribbon. The floor length skirt was a chic sheath styled skirt.  A floral cloche outlined with pearls held her bouffant veil.  She carried a bridal bouquet of pink roses.

 

Maid of honor was Sandra Guzman, and Corrine Demuth was bridesmaid. They wore mint green, floor length dresses with empire waistlines, accented by green velvet ribbon.  Their dresses featured elbow length sleeves.  Bouffant veils were attached to mint green bow headpieces.

 

Wayne Demuth of Madison was bestman. Groomsman was Michael Demuth and ushers were Thomas Guzman and Joseph Brockert.

 

The bride is a 1966 graduate of the University of Wisconsin.  Mr. Catlin attended Wisconsin State University-Eau Claire.

 

Guests from out of town attending the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pilrainen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hansen and family of Rockford, Ill., Miss Connie Bell of Madison, Mrs. Ted Peterson and Carol Peterson of Ladysmith, Mrs. Tom Peterson and sons of Wausau, Gary Everson of Whitehall, Mrs. John Perry of Waukegan, Ill, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ingold, Miss Maryann Schultz of Neillsville.
