Soderberg Family Reunion (2 JUL 1961)

The descendants of the late August and Bertha Soderberg who settled in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1883, held their reunion July 2 at Chabman Park at Stanley with 103 attending, 50 absent. Those attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cleary and family of Independence, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Glasshof and family of Litchfield, Minn.; Mrs. Evelyn Ricksham and daughter Linda of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Grace and family of Minneapolis, Mrs. Eva Grace, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Grace Jr. and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Soderberg and family, all of Marinette; Mr. and Mrs. Ted Soderberg of Peshtigo, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Soderberg and family and Mr. and Mrs. John Hoene, all of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Huther and family of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Glasshof of Fond du Lac, Miss Carol Biddle of Chicago, Mr.a nd Mrs. Frank Wittek and family of Withee, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Smith and family of Boyd, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Brown and family of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Lewellyn and family, all of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Soderberg, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Soderberg and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stewart, Mr. Roger Warner, Mr.a nd Mrs. Dean Hubbard and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Biddle and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Deutschlander and Jeffrey, Mrs. Florence Telford, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Glasshof, Mr. Ronald Glasshof, Mr. Jerry Glasshof, all of Thorp.

Visitors were Miss Kathy Budzinski of Thorp, Miss Ella Larson of Minneapolis, and Miss Bonnie Birecke of Stetsonville.

Kathy, Sandra and Phyllis Lewellyn sang several songs, and a very enjoyable day was spent by all.
