The Social Club met with Mrs. John Pietenpol Thursday. The usual good time was had by all present.

Arthur Phipps assisted his son George in sawing wood Thursday.

The W.W. Club met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Frank Thursday evening. The evening was passed pleasantly. Peanut races and several contests were enjoyed by the members.

Miss Jean Davis returned to her school work at Riplinger Sunday, after spending a 3 week vacation at home.

Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Phipps and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. O. Montgomery and daughter Lela and son Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Canfield and baby spent Sunday at the W.J. McClaflin’s.

Mr. and Mrs. Truman Davis and daughters Lila and Lucille, Mrs. John Breese and Elsie Dorst spent Sunday afternoon at Chas. Hayden’s.

Elsie Dorst spent Sunday night with Lucille Davis and with her attended Granton School Monday.

Mrs. W.J. Davis spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Byrl Winn at Granton.

Floyd Pietenpol is the owner of a new Ford car since Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Batke and son Julius left for their home at Algoma Monday after spending several weeks with their daughter, Mrs. L.A. Schneider.

Mr. and Mrs. M. Dorst spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Schneider.

Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Winn and sons Ralph and Ronald spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nate Dubes.

Harold Garbush and Lloyd Spry, graduates of the Detroit Auto School, spent Tuesday and Wednesday at M. Dorst’s overhauling the Overland.
