On Thanksgiving morning Miss Bertha Lorenz and Joseph Marth were united in marriage by Rev. Weber at the parsonage of St. Mary’s Church. The bridal couple were attended by Miss Edith Beyer and John Lorenz and at the conclusion of the ceremony the bridal party went to the home of the bride on Court Street where a bounteous wedding breakfast had been prepared. The bride is a well known young lady of this city who has made her home here for many years and during that time has endeared herself in the hearts of a host of sincere friends. She is a capable young lady and one with an exceptionally pleasing personality. The groom is a prosperous young farmer who lives in West Pine Valley. He is a capable and energetic young man and highly esteemed by all who know him. Mr. and Mrs. Marth have gone to housekeeping on the Marth farm.
