Henke, Peter (28 AUG 1886 - 22 JUN 1962)

Peter A. Henke, a resident of N. Franklin St., Stanley, died at six o’clock Friday morning at Victory Memorial Hospital June 22nd, 1962.

Mr. Henke was born Aug. 28, 1886 in Mazeppa, Minn., the son of August and Ann Henke. He moved to a farm near Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) with his parents when a child. In 1912, he bought a farm in the Town of Worden, near Stanley, and famred there until his retirement in 1958. He was married to Cora Vanderloop, Jan. 8, 1910?, at St. Anne’s Church. Stanley. She died June 2, 1957.

He was a member of St. Anne’s Church, a past supervisor in the Town of Worden for 10 years, and served on the Worden Telephone… (The rest of my copy was cut off)
