Seefeld, Bruce (16 OCT. 1952-14 JUNE 2012)

Bruce “Sleeper” Seefeld, 59, Spencer, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, June 19, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Spencer. Rev. Rebekah Tarras officiated.

Bruce Seefeld was born on Oct. 16, in Reedsburg, the son of Dale and Josephine (nee Conraad) Seefeld. He attended Colby schools. He proudly served I the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with engines, and a good drink with a cigarette. Those who knew him will remember him for his kind heart and love of crossword puzzles, word-find puzzles and scratch-off tickets.

He is lovingly survived by his father, Dale Seefeld; seven siblings, Doug (Barb) Seefeld, Spencer; Barb (Darrel) Elpert-Timm, Unity, Deb (Michael) Converston, Hazelhurst, Barry Seefeld, Bensenville, Ill., Ken Seefeld, Unity, Brad “Yogi” Seefeld, Unity, and Rhonda Albrecht, Withee; a sister-in-law, Kris Seefeld, Unity; and many other family and Friends. He will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo, and a brother, Jeffrey Seefeld.
