Niznik, Anastasia (7 AUG 1882 - 18 MAR 1963)

Anastasia Niznik, 80, passed away on Monday, March 18, 1963 of old age infirmities at the home of her daughter, Helen Rohland.

Anastasia Siturski was born Aug. 7, 1882 in Poland and she came to the United States in 1912. In 1914 she married John Niznik in Chicago. In 1920 they moved to Taylor County and resided in the township of Roosevelt.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 21 at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Church, Clark County. Rev. Yakiw Borwosky, Neillsville, officiated at the ten o’clock service and burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Kudingo, Mike Ustianaowski, Frank Knusta, Fred Rohland, Otto Rohland and Julius Rohland.

Surviving are three sons, Steve and William of Lublin, Paul, Withee, two daughters, (Helen) Mrs. Henry Rohland, Withee and (Rose) Mrs. Marshall Skinner, Dallas, Texas.
