A farewell party was given the Cascade people who were visiting at the C.D. Reisner home, Monday evening. The Louis Elmhurst, Will Reisner, Gottlieb Reisner, Wm. Wagner, Fred Ross and Alfred Reisner family attending.

C.W. Chub is adding porches to three sides of his residence and generally improving same.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Powell of Sherry, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. John Hoyt of Superior, Iowa, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. St. Clair on Monday.

Miss Jaunita Tilton of Lindsey is visiting Mrs. Chas. St. Claire since last Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Reisner and daughter, Mrs. Wm. Buss, went home to Cascade Tuesday, accompanied by the Misses Laura and Margaret Reisner, nieces of the former, one a daughter of C.D. and the other of Wm. Reisner, who will visit there two weeks.

Herbert Fink of Milwaukee, a cousin of C.D. Reisner, is her since last month on a summer vacation visit among those relatives.

Will Voight was at Granton Monday and bought a big team of Ross Paulson.

The John Peterson family is now in quarantine for diphtheria since Sunday, when Gladys, their 7-year-old daughter died of the dread malady. Orena and Reynold, two older children, are now ill with the disease.

Haying is the busing of the day now.
