Twarowski, Patricia Ann (22 JUN 1963)

The altar of St. Hedwig’s Chapel, Thorp, was beautifully decorated with white and pink peonies when Miss Patricia An Twarowski became the bride of Gary John Fudala on Saturday, June 22, 1963. Rev. Edward Masalewicz performed the ten a.m. double ring nuptial.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Twarowski, RR. 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) and Mr. and Mrs. Adam Fudala, SR, Gilman.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a luxurious chapel length gown of Chantilly lace over tissue taffeta. Her scalloped Sabrina neckline, embellished with glittering sequins and pearls, and long traditional tapered sleeves accented the fitted basque. The bouffant story skirt was fashioned with tier upon tier of frothy lace, with alternating ones sprinkled with sequins. The back of the skirt was adorned with a long chapel train.

For her headpiece she chose a large cabbage rose with twisted pearl petals sparkling with crystals which secured her bouffant veiling of pure silk illusion and her bouquet consisted of all white orchids.

Miss Shirley Lew, a friend of the bride, and Miss Sandra Twarowski, sister of the bride, were the bride’s attendants, wearing identical street length dresses of white nylon scalloped organza over mint green taffeta full skirts. Min green taffeta cummerbunds that tied into a large bow a the back styled the dresses.

Their matching headpieces were made of a trio of mint green taffeta roses centering the nylon net blushers. They wore white elbow length gloves and carried a cascade of white carnations edged with mint green. White crystal necklines with matching earrings, a gift of the bride, competed their ensembles.

Ronald Fudala was his brother’s best man and Robert Klat, cousin of the groom, was groomsman. Ushers were Lambert Prokopiak and Bernard Prokopiak, Jr., cousins of the bride.

A breakfast for 112 guests and a reception at 6:00 for 350 guests were held at the Quonset Hall, Thorp.

The bride’s mother wore a Pacific blue pure silk embroidered sheath. The groom’s mother wore a two-piece beige sheath with a flowered silk bodice. Both mothers wore corsages of white orchids.

The bride attended Owen-Withee High and Wis. State College at Eau Claire. The groom attended Gilman High and is majoring in mechanical engineering at the University of Wisconsin at Madison where they will make their home at 3230 Milwaukee St., after a trip to southwester Wisconsin and northern Iowa.
