Lobacz, Victor #2 (15 JUN 1883 - 19 NOV 1963)

Victor Lobacz, 80 passed away at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley on Tuesday, Nov. 19th, 1963.

Mr. Lobacz, a retired farmer, was born June 15, 1883 in Poland. He came to America in May 1905 and since then always lived in the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area. On May 11, 1915 he was united in marriage to Mary Rogus at St. Hedwig’s Church.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Chapel on Friday, Nov. 22. Rev. Edward Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. services, and burial was in St. Hedwig’s Old Cemetery. Pallbearers were all members of the PNA: John Koszak, Walter Szczech, Walter Zurakowski, Ignacey Przybylski, Joseph Kaminski, and Stanley Pszeniczny.

Surviving are his wife, Mary, six sons, John, Withee, Mike and Joe of Chicago, Stanley and George of Greenwood, Edmund, Fort Wayne, Ind.; three daughters, (Ann) Mrs. Joe Jaskot, (Helen) Mrs. Fred Kryzanowski of Chicago, (Regina) Mrs. Chester Rogus of Thorp; two brothers, Michael Lobacz of Milwaukee, Joseph Lobacz of Poland; two sister, Antonia Chomiuk, Mrs. Aniela Janowski of Poland, and thirty-three grandchildren.
