Mrs. Minnie Deegan of Watertown visited her son Geo. Deegan and family the past two week and on Wednesday returned to Watertown.

Mrs. C. Montag visited her sons at Chili part of last week.

Mrs. Jake Breseman of Marshfield visited relatives and friends in this place the fore part of the week and Tuesday went to the town of Levis to visit Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sternitzky and daughters Lulu and Frieda visited Max Opelt in Lynn several days this week. Max Opelt returned with them and visited friends on Tuesday.

Mrs. Ed Riedel and sons Harold and George of Neillsville spent Saturday and Sunday with relatives in this place.

Fred Hankey celebrated his birthday Saturday evening by giving a party.

Miss Hazel Washburn visited friends in Marshfield and Spencer the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Scott and two children, and Edward Jeffries of Cuba City, Wis., and Mrs. Nancevil and Robert of Nasonville visited the Altenburg’s Tuesday. The former made the trip in their auto from Cuba City.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Capelle entertained friends from Plymouth the fore part of the week.

Clark Brooks, accompanied by Mrs. R.C. Norman and little son and Martha Sternitzky autoed to Marshfield last Wednesday.

The sad news of the death of Wm. Johnson of Morristown, S.D. was received her Monday. He will be remembered as the husband of Beatrice Brooks. The news came as a shock to old neighbors and friends who extend their deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Miss Ella Dougherty and Miss Hilda Hiles of Dexterville were guests of Mrs. R.T. Washburn last Friday.

H.C. Witt autoed to Marshfield Thursday.

John Lenhardt went to Elgin, Minn. to work last week.

Mrs. Peter Schmidt and Mrs. Jim Quicker took the excursion train Sunday and went to Camp Douglas to spend the day with their sons who belong to the National Guard.

Chas. Guk and family autoed to Camp Douglas Sunday.

Mable Schultz came home from Ebbe Tuesday where she had been visiting her sister.

Alter Sholtz and a friend of his of Rib Falls transacted business and visited relatives in this place Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Baer and daughter Helene and Mrs. Ernest Dixon of Granton were Friday evening guests of the Washburn’s.
