Mary Elizabeth Hable, Milwaukee, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A.P. Hable, became the bride of Luke Joseph Eiche of Slinger, in a ceremony at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Saturday, Jan. 20, 1962. Mr. Eiche is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Eiche. Rev. Albert officiated at the 11 a.m. Nuptial High Mass.

The bride, who was presented in marriage by her father, wore a white rose satin brocade gown with a matching white rose brocade headpiece. Her fingertip veil was “Something borrowed
from her sister-in-law, Mrs. Nester Kohut. A garland bouquet of white orchids was carried by the bride to the altar.

Attending the bride were Mrs. Michael Mike of Milwaukee, as matron of honor, and the bride’s sister, Jane Hable of Loyal, as bridesmaid. They were seen in Royal blue crystalette peau de Soi gowns in a floor length with matching blue veiled headpieces. They held yellow roses and white carnations in a garland bouquet.

Mrs. Hable saw her daughter’s wedding in a navy blue dress with fuchsia accessories and beige dress with dark brown accessories was worn by the mother of the groom. Each were presented with an orchid corsage.

The groom chose his brother-in-law, Ralph Ziegelbauer of Hartford, as his best man, and groomsman was Fred Albrecht, his cousin, also of Hartford. Guests were seated by Harry Bruns of Marshfield, an uncle of the bride, and Nestor C. Kohut of Milwaukee, the groom’s brother-in-law.

A wedding dinner followed the services and was held at the Boulevard Inn in Milwaukee.

The bride is a graduate of Marquette University, College of Nursing, and the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., and is an instructor at the Marquette University College of Nursing. Her husband, who attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering, is employed at the American Motors Corp. Following a honeymoon ski trip in northern Wisconsin, the couple will make their home in Slinger.
