Busy corner this; four silo fillers, one threshing machine, some cutting corn and some stacking, all going on at once.

Jim Wilcox of Taconite, Minn., and friend from Tioga came Monday for a short visit before Jim joined the Colors. He was called and went back Wednesday on the limited to answered at Grand Rapids, Minn. Jim was sympathized with on having to go but he answered no, he would be disappointed not to go. God bless such and bring them safely home again.

School began in Chili this week with Miss Emma Furlong as teacher.

Miss Esther Brooks left this week for Whitewater, Wis. To again attend school.

Miss Irma Brooks is attending school at Stevens Point.

Miss Elda Happe goes to school at Eau Claire.

Mrs. Susan Snow's brother-in-law is her visiting.

A brother of John Frasier is also here visiting.

The Cooper Show left Tuesday morning for Stratford, Monday was their sixth night here. They sold different preparations and all contained votes. Votes were also given with each 15 cent ticket. Mrs. Harriman received the most votes and received a lavaliere. Mrs. Harry Eide and Mrs. Ray Ure each received a nice ring and Miss Edna Rupno received the most votes for young ladies and received a lavaliere.

Mrs. Koser's brother and wife are here on a short visit.

Nasonville Ladies Aid will meet Sept. 26th at Mrs. Frances Boyd's in the afternoon. All are request to come, as election of officers is on that day.

Services will be held at Nasonville church next Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
