Mr. and Mrs. Sam Muir visited at Wellie Davis' Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Chistenson, F. Dankemyer and family autoed to Chippewa Falls Wednesday and took in the fair. They returned the next day.

Andrew, George and Chas. Ley autoed to Hatfield Saturday and remained until Sunday.

Tony Hornick and family autoed to the Harry Hwett farm to call on Ed Witte and family on Sunday.

Mrs. August Dankemyer and Hanna Dankemyer visited at Ernest Hankey's Sunday evening.

Charley Mundt went to Neillsville on business Monday.

While returning home from Chippewa Falls, Al Christenson is shooting at a target with his horse pistol, had the misfortune of missing the target with the ball, but broke the target with the barrel of his gun. So he must have been some distance from the target. Well about eight. But he says he didn't care.

Wellie Davis and Fred Dankemyer were called to assist Walter Drake in completing his silo Monday, as he expected to fill silo the next day.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Davis, who have been visiting relatives and friends at Hancock, Wis., returned here Sunday evening.

Aug. Ley and best girl took in the dance at Chili Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Christenson, Mr. and Mrs. Walla Baxter and relatives autoed to Curtiss Sunday to call on Mrs. Baxter's father.

Elsie Badendurfer is gaining very slowly.

Ernester Singer's baby was very sick last week.

Miss Lydia Krause spent a few days last week at Freeman Dankemyer's in taking care of the children while they took in the fair.

Mrs. Munce Eibergen is up and arround again but not able to do any work. Jennie Eibergen is assisting her with her household duites.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer took in the movies at Marshfield Sunday.

Tony Hornick Jr. had a streak of luck the other day. While threshing he got mixed up with a bag of rye. Tony says he mastered the bag of rye alright, until he go ready to empty it. He overbalanced and fell downstairs. He thought it must have been fifty feet with the bag of rye on top of him. He says when he get better he is going to challenge that bag of rye to see who is the best man.

Frank Fischer made cheese at Riverside Factory while the old maker took in the fair.
