The Woodmen bought a new piano for the hall.

The item should have read last week that Rev. Wilson of Stevens Point preached at Nasonville instead of Rev. Wilson Mallory.

Sept. 30 a Rev. Wilson of Merrill preached, and next Sunday Rev. H.F. Ambrose will hold services at 3:30 p.m.

A moving picture was in Chili Monday and Tuesday nights.

Truman Davis and wife, with Mrs. Grace Anderson and daughter, autoed out and visited old friends last Sunday.

A surprise was given Harry and Ethel Oens last Saturday night by a lot of friends, as they are going to move on a farm they bought last spring. The evening was spent in visiting and music. At midnight a nice lunch was served. All went home wishing them best of luck.

Mrs. J.P. Dawes and Mrs. Oatman visited at J. Davidson's and John Rollins' Tuesday.

Last Tuesday Mel Blake and wife of Spencer, T.F. Lee and granddaughter, visited at J. Davis'.

Mrs. Nettie Wilcox and Mrs. Mable Dickerson and children visited their sister Jennie Wilcox.

Dan Brooks dug potatoes for the neighbors with his potato digger.

Miss Mary Sicklinger of Bakersville called at her brother John's last Tuesday.

As the stone and sand are laying beside the road so long, not doing any good, Joe Hutt would make too use of it for his cellar. So if the town don't need it, Joe does.

Otto Rupno traded horses Sunday.
