Schultz, Mr./Mrs. George (Gold - 27 NOV 1963)

Mr. and Mrs. George Schultz of Abbotsford observed their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, June 15, 1963, with a celebration at Cherokee Park in the afternoon and evening. Supper was served to 250 guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Schultz were married Nov. 27, 1913, at Dorchester, but had the celebration this summer so most of their relatives and friends could attend.

Nine of their ten children were present, as well as many of their 46 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Darold (Lydia) Freeman, Milan, was unable to attend.

Sons and daughters and their families who were present were Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Lorna) Schmelzer and Fred Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Martha) Fischer, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Lucille) Waldhart and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schultz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde (Carmen) Broeske and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wally Schultz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don (Juanita) Leichtnam, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Schultz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Art (Myrtle) Cole and family.
