Goeltz, Frank W. Jr. (9 OCT 1927 - 6 DEC 2012)

Frank W. Goeltz Jr, age 85, of Colby, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Golden Living Center-Continental Manor, Abbotsford. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 10, 2012 at 12:00 PM at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Colby. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at the Colby Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors presented by the Colby VFW Post #2227.

Frank was born October 9, 1927 to Mae (Bradley) and Frank Goeltz Sr. in Colby. After graduating from Colby High School, Frank proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. Frank and Kathryn Phillips were joined in marriage on May 1, 1948 in Colby. He was a rural mail carrier for the Colby Post Office for many years.

He was a member of the Colby Methodist Church and the Mason's Lodge. He enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and golfing.

Frank is survived by his children: Linda (John) Hart of Colby, Kay (Eldon) Westberg of Phillips, Nancy (Wayne) Sterzinger of Eau Claire, and Glen (Peggy) Goeltz of Marshfield, and Margaret "Chic" (Allen) Flaskrud of Mondovi. He is further survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and his sister Frances (Delbert) Neitzel of Winter.

Frank was greeted in Heaven by his parents and his wife, Kathryn.
