Mr. Jenkins is expected home this week.

Mrs. Spencer of Portage is visiting her sister, Mrs. H.W. Colfix.

Mr. and Mrs. George Bell of Tomah are guests of E.D. Carter.

Men are passing through town every day on their way home from the woods.

Several loads of young and married people went to Fairchild last Sunday evening.

Mrs. Judkins and daughter of Garden Valley visited with Mrs. D.B. Travis last Thursday.

Miss Addie Neff, county superintendent, visited the Humbird schools Thursday and Friday.

The social will meet with Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Freeman Thursday evening, instead of Friday evening, on account of the masquerade ball.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Gilmon are enjoying a visit with Mrs. G.'s father, E. Gilmon of St. Cloud. Mr. Gilmon will also visit a daughter who resides at Fairchild, before their return.

An infant child of Hank Hartman died last Friday with whooping cough. Funeral services were held Monday at the Catholic Church. May friends extend heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved parents.
