Hecker, Robert C. (1914 – 12 MAR 1963)


Robert C. Hecker, 49, Louisville, Kentucky died of a heart attack at his home March 12. Funeral services were held March 16 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.


Mr. Hecker was sales manager of the Community Shop Towel Service, a position he had held for the past three years. Previous to that, he was vice-president and general manager of the Tisco Corporation in Toledo, Ohio.


Mr. Hecker was a member of the Serra Club, Trinidad’s Club, Holy Name Bowling League, and was a charter member of the Louisville chapter of the National Camping Colonels.
He was also a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, the men’s club of the church and a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus.


Survivors are his wife, the former Mary E. Stern; two sons, Robert Charles Hecker, Jr., with the United States Air Force in Pakistan and Richard; two daughters, Kathleen and Rosemary; his mother, Mrs. Joseph Hecker, Loyal; three brothers, Harold and Leonard, both of Los Angeles, and Peter, Milwaukee; four sisters, Mrs. Ellsworth Dolloff, Wausau; Mrs. William Robinson, Lincoln, Nebraska, Mrs. Andy Devine, Toledo, Ohio and Mrs. John Studnicka, Milwaukee.
