JENNIE FRENCH/CARL STANGE MARRIAGE

Married, at the residence of the bride's parents in the Town of Pine Valley, Clark County, by Rev. W. T. Hendren, on Wednesday, March 27, 1889, Mr. Carl Stange of this city and Miss Jennie French.

This is the consummation of a long and pleasant courtship, and the commencement, we trust, of a long and happy wedded life. Carl is one of our most highly respected young men, while Miss Jennie was one of the most amiable of young ladies. Carl had his house already furnished for his bride and the young couple took possession at once and are at home from today to all their friends.

The Knights of Pythias, of which order Mr. Stange is an honored member, at the close of the lodge last night visited the newly married couple in a body and presented them with a silver creamer, sugar bowl and spoon-holder, with the congratulations of the Brothers. The Republican and Press acknowledge the receipt of some fine cake.
